Fest Anca International Animation Festival
Posted: Sun, 14 Mar 2010 10:11:40 +0000Fest Anca is a international animated film festival, its purpose is to show contemporary, progressive animated films to commemorate the best of the genre?s history. The long-term vision is to approximate well-known international festivals, filling an empty space in this field of art in Slovakia . An international competition for best animated film - to be selected by an expert panel - will be part of the festival. Accompanying events will include workshops, exhibitions and chats with filmmakers and producers. The summertime festival atmosphere will be supported by a tent city, nighttime screenings and live concerts. Only animated films not longer than 30 minutes and completed in 2008-2010 are accepted. Animations must not have been submitted to previous Fest An?a. Only films in DVD format will be accepted for pre-selection. Films containing dialogue must be subtitled in English. There will be 3 An?a awards to the best animations consisting of a trophy and cash prize. All awards will be announced at closing ceremony of festival on August 1, 2010 . No limit to your creativity!. Keeping in mind the brand?s territory - " Having fun staying in shape " create a design, sketch, drawing, picture, text or description of the new product Reebok could come up with on the market that would appeal to women. The target is 18-25 years old women (and on a larger scale 18-35) who are individualistic, active, feminine, practicing individual sports. Your imagination has no limit, you can extend the brand to anything you think might please that target! World Industrial Design Day Poster Contest
Posted: Tue, 09 Mar 2010 14:39:19 +0000First declared on June 29, 2007 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design, World Industrial Design Day has been established to mark the development and evolution of industrial design throughout the course of its history. Aim of the contest is to design a poster that illustrates the importance industrial design has in helping humanity. The poster can be a creative illustration or an illustration of the design of a product that captures this year's theme " Industrial Design: Humane solutions for a resilient world ". Competition is open exclusively to design students enrolled in an Icsid Member School at no fee. The winning designer will have his/her poster utilised as the official World Industrial Design Day 2010 poster.
